- Navigate between icebergs on an ice-rated expedition vessel specially designed for the safety and comfort of its passengers.
- Explore the most remote shores of Antarctica using Zodiac boats, the most practical boats of their kind in the world, designed by Jacques Cousteau.
- Visit an international research station on the continent that has no official form of government.

This elite program is designed to build leadership skills and to give you a truly unique view of the world. Get set for a great adventure designed to challenge individuals to think and gain new insights into our planet.
Age range – Participants must be between the ages of 13 and 18 before the departure date.
Program dates – The delegation will convene at the international gateway airport in the United States on December 25, and return to the gateway airport on January 8, 2008.
Academic credit – As on your previous Ambassador Programs, you can earn high school credit for your participation through the Washington School of World Studies. Cost for this credit is included in your tuition.
